It is estimated that approximately 150 million tons of plastic waste currently exist in our oceans, with an additional eight million tons entering them each year. If this trend continues, experts warn that by 2050 the total amount of ocean plastic could outweigh the total mass of fish, raising serious concerns about detrimental impacts on marine ecosystems, fisheries, tourism, and other industries.

In response to this urgent situation, the NPO Clean Ocean Ensemble is collaborating with corporations to collect marine debris and preserve beautiful oceans for future generations. To recognize and visibly demonstrate this corporate support, we issue our “Marine Debris Collection Support Certificate.”

What Is the “Marine Debris Collection Support Certificate”?

The “Marine Debris Collection Support Certificate” is an official document issued by our organization for sponsoring companies. It visually represents, through data and photos, how much marine debris was actually collected thanks to the support provided by each company.

The certificate clearly states the company’s name, period of support, amount of debris collected, and collection locations, serving as solid proof of CSR achievements both within the company and to external stakeholders. It can be issued in either paper or digital (PDF, etc.) format.

How to Participate and Receive the Certificate

      Please use the inquiry form on our website to contact us.
      Our staff will guide you through the support options and certificate details, and we will collect your company information.

   2. Provision of Support (Donations/Sponsorship Fees)
      If you are providing funds (donations or sponsorship fees), please use our “Donate” page to make a payment via credit card or bank transfer.

   3. Marine Debris Collection & Data Recording
      Based on your support, our staff and volunteers will conduct cleanup activities in oceans and rivers.
      All collected waste is recorded through our specialized app—logging weight, type, location, and date/time—which is then reflected on our real-time MAP.

   4. Issuance & Delivery of the Certificate
      After aggregating the collection data over a set period, we create a certificate with your company name and the results of the cleanup.
      We provide it either on paper or as a PDF file, which can be used for internal newsletters, websites, and CSR reports.
